Dress Deal

I haven't written in over a month and in that time I've been in Michigan, Florida, Spain, hosted my family, and Easter for friends, and what do I give you? Two shopping posts in a row, that's what. Sorry about your luck... if there's even any readers left here. Carrying on...

When my Mom was in town, we spent an afternoon shopping. She actually took me birthday shopping, which was a real treat! I also did some of my own retail "damage." I'm most proud of this purchase.

First off, we have two weddings this summer that I had been keeping an eye out for. I tried this on at the store with my Mom and it was $150 marked down to $90. I wasn't 100% sold and thought I would keep looking, but bought it anyway knowing that I could return it. Then, I happened to be on the J.Crew website the other day and the $90 dress was marked down to $60 with a special coupon code. It was final sale, and since I already knew what size I needed, I quickly became "sold" that for $60 this dress would work perfectly for the two weddings. Back to the store goes the $90 version and $30 into my pocket. Love a good deal like that!
